It now says $8.99, but if the quality is good that's still a decent price.

Depp was undetectable, at least to me. Given the mixed history of movie stars making music maybe that was a good thing.

The Seer, by the Swans. Although I kept seeing it on 2012 lists, I was dubious; the descriptions of it in those lists didn't make it seem like it would be something I would like. I decided to check it out on Spotify anyway and it is very good.

I'm afraid, BN, that I'd have to win at least $100,000,000 before I'd even consider that, and I still might not do it. Maybe that's somehow part of their point.

When I lived in the '80s in Houston, which is sort of a suburb of Lafayette, he used to come to town a lot. I loved the Archie Roach, although I've never heard of him.
GP, is that Nosferatu?
Mission by Cecilia Bartoli:
http://open.spotify.com/album/6KRnfm5u0UGXjGa7ic4Og7It was my first or second jazz album, too.I thought that was a photoshopped joke, but I see it's not!It sounds like the overall response, sadly but not surprisingly, will be war. A Google translate page from a Frankfurt paper or magazine: http://bit.ly/Vi4ZGz. Or Germanprof might read it atI have a few responses to this that are not yet, if they ever will be, organized into coherence. Just "random notes" then:
The video by Kiss Diouara referred to in the WashPo article: …I'm game, as long as I don't have to understand and employ all of Wire's procedures. I think that was meant seriously but reads more like a satire.I hadn't heard that the movie was coming so soon. It opens December 21st. The Rotten Tomatoes reviews are a mixture of good and bad.
